Cashmere loves gentle care. Always check the care label before washing. The garment should be turned inside out and washed either by hand or in the gentle cycle of the washing machine in cold or lukewarm water with the special Lu Ren Cashmere Shampoo. If washing by hand, soak the cashmere piece briefly and move it gently - never rub or wring it. A maximum of one or two items should be washed in the machine at the same time.

After washing, carefully reshape the cashmere garment and lay it flat on a clean towel. The towel is loosely rolled up to gently squeeze out excess water – never wring or twist. Then lay the item flat to air dry, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, to protect the fine fibres.

Cashmere garments should always be washed clean. They should be folded and stored flat in a dry, well-ventilated wardrobe – never on a hanger, to prevent stretching. For additional protection, use breathable bags and lavender sachets or cedar wood to keep moths away.
